Debt advice is organised differently across the UK. The services below are well known, free and regulated. They can talk through your full situation and explain your options in more detail.

Money and mental health
Worrying about money can affect sleep, mood, relationships and your sense of control. You don’t have to wait until things feel “bad enough” to reach out for support.

Your GP and NHS services
If you’re worried about your mental health, you can speak to your GP or, in an emergency, use NHS services in your area. They can talk through options like talking therapies, crisis lines or local support.
If you feel at immediate risk of harm, treat it as an emergency and use local emergency services.

Why is there a notice at the top?
The domain used to be run by a different organisation that was reprimanded by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). The site is now under new, independent ownership with a different purpose.
