Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law.

Last updated: 1 December 2025

1. Overview

We respect your privacy and aim to collect as little personal data as possible. We follow UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

2. Who is responsible for your data?

The operator of this website is responsible for how your personal data is used when you interact with this site or send us a message through the contact form.

If you have questions about this policy or how your data is used, you can contact us through the contact form.

3. What information we collect

3.1 Information you send through the contact form

If you use the contact form, we collect:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • the subject you select
  • the message you write
  • your confirmation that you’ve read and agree to our terms and privacy policy

Please don’t include highly sensitive details (such as full account numbers, National Insurance numbers or passwords) in your message.

3.2 Analytics and technical information

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how the site is used, such as:

  • which pages are visited
  • approximate device or browser type
  • rough location (for example, by country)
  • how quickly pages load

We use:

  • Cloudflare Analytics, which does not use tracking cookies or collect personal data.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4), configured to collect aggregated, anonymised usage data. We don’t use GA4 for advertising, remarketing or to build individual profiles.

4. What we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect:

  • detailed debt information or account histories
  • bank account or payment card details
  • National Insurance numbers
  • identification documents
  • data for advertising or remarketing

We use your information to:

  • respond to messages you send through the contact form
  • understand which parts of the site are most useful
  • monitor performance and fix problems

We do not use your data for marketing or advertising.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing.

We may use service providers to help operate the website, for example:

  • website hosting and security (including Cloudflare)
  • email delivery (for example, through Resend)
  • analytics tools (Cloudflare Analytics and GA4)

These providers are only allowed to use your information to provide their service to us, and not for their own purposes.

We may also share information if the law requires us to do so, for example with law enforcement.

7. How long we keep your information

Messages sent through the contact form are normally kept for up to 12 months, then securely deleted, unless we need to keep them longer for legal or security reasons.

Aggregated analytics data may be kept for longer, but it does not identify you as an individual.

8. How we protect your information

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

  • HTTPS encryption when you access the site
  • security protections offered by our hosting and CDN providers
  • restricted access to contact messages

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep risk as low as reasonably possible.
